How to use LinkedIn to become a go-to expert
My simple formula for building authority and the insider tips I use for LinkedIn's algorithm.
On Tuesdays, I share stories, advice and insights from what I’ve learned as a female founder — what’s worked, what hasn’t and what you need to know as you grow your business. Psst, only paid subscribers get access to the full article.
As my business has evolved, I’ve become more focused on helping female founders build authority in their space. I’ve met so many founders who are building incredible businesses, who are so incredibly smart, who literally blow my mind. But when I look at their marketing — most of that isn’t being highlighted. In fact, most of the time nothing about the founder is out there at all. Their marketing is only focused on the business itself.
The founder has so much to say, but I often find they hesitate to do so. They’re afraid they’ll sound like they’re bragging. Or they don’t know where to start. Or they fear they don’t have any expertise to share (which couldn’t be farther from the truth.)
I’m passionate about helping female founders find their voice and confidently show up with it, so that they can start building authority in their space. So they become the go-to person in their industry.
And I love leaning into LinkedIn and email to make that happen. I have been personally posting on LinkedIn, consistently, three times a week, for over a year. It’s grown my business. It’s brought in leads. It’s solidified me as a go-to voice in the female founder space.
And that can happen for you too (without you having to post every single day!).
I’m sharing lots of goodies for paid subscribers in the rest of this article:
